STARBUCKS
James
Kerns
There's
a new Starbucks in my neighborhood
Spanking
fresh, green and white, with ergonomic steel chairs
Spanking
fresh, green and white, with ergonomic steel chairs
There's
a new Starbucks in my neighborhood
But I
haven't figured out what to do with the last one yet,
And I'm
one double-skim-latted motherfucker.
But there
are plenty of glass windows to watch the world through
And I
imagine a day when I'll be able to see my next Starbucks down the road
From my
frothy seat while I'm flipping through the Style section.
Because
thats the way we like it here on our momentarily caffeine perches.
We need
to squeeze the last bad idea until it bursts
And spreads
its curse all over the landscape,
One long
green tale on monotomy with monogrammed sides
And special
lids to fit our limited purpose.
There's
a new Star-buckson my street
And I'm
just figuring out what the words mean.
